Palma

Palma de Majorca, capital of the Balearic Islands, is a very attractive site for retailing, and many chains have earnings which exceed their national average. The relatively recent arrival of shopping centres (Marratxi and Porto Pi) has increased the town's attractiveness. Its middle-range tourist industry draws a huge number of visitors, mainly from Germany and the United Kingdom (Palma airport handles nearly xxx million passengers). The purchasing power of the local population is relatively high compared to the rest of the country.

La reciente implantación de centros comerciales (Marratxi y Porto Pi) ha reforzado el interés por esta ciudad que dispone de un turismo de gama media muy denso procedente de Alemania e Inglaterra (al aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca llegan millones de pasajeros...). La población local dispone de un poder de compra bastante importante en comparación a la escala nacional.
