Mannheim is the second largest city in Baden-Württemberg with a population of about 320,000 and the economic and cultural heart of the Rhine-Neckar-Triangle, a major area of industrial concentration, with a population of 1.9 m, a work force of about 800,000 and an industrial turnover of EUR 35 bn. The city of Mannheim disposes of very good transport connections. Situated at the waterways of Rhine and Neckar, the rail-lines Hamburg-Munich and Frankfurt-Basel are passing Mannheim. Through its excellent connenction to the international airports Frankfurt and Stuttgart, the city has interesting potential for companies that are ready to settle here. Beside this the city centre ensures a lot of car parks.
