Leeds

Leeds is situated in the north of the UK, approximately 315 km from London, and a similar distance from Edinburgh. It has excellent communication links being situated close to the M1, M62 and M621 motorways. Leeds Bradford International Airport is situated 14 km to the north west of the City. Leeds has a core catchment population of 448,000; within the wider catchment area, there are over 2 M people within a 30 minute drive time. There are 600,000 sqm of retail floor space in the centre. The prime retail area is Briggate, running on a north/south axis through the City, where retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, House of Fraser, Borders, Zara, H&M, and Gap are located. The Victoria Quarter, a covered shopping centre situated on Briggate is the focus for upmarket retailers. The major project Trinity Leeds (93.000 sqm) opened in 2013.
