Nuremberg with its 500,000 inhabitants and a catchment area of 1.3 mn. people is the centre of the franconian region. Nuremberg is one of the best connected sites in Europe due to its airport, ICE-railway station, junction of several highways and its harbour at the Main-Danubia-Channel. Besides this city is an important congress and fair trade site. The attractive nature as well as the gently rebuilt city centre attract tourists from all over the world. Above all before Christmas the city centre is an attraction for visitors of the famous Christmas market. Nuremberg offers a great shopping ambience. All the known department stores, luxury goods retailers but also regional specialist shops and trendy scene stores are settled here. The historical city centre can be well reached by feet. There are several subway stations. The railway station is at the end of Königstrasse. Parking spaces are offered by the big department stores.

Nürnberg zählt als Verkehrsknotenpunkt mit seinem Flughafen, ICE-Bahnhof und Schnittpunkt mehrerer Autobahnen, sowie seinem Hafen am Main-Donau-Kanal zu den am besten erschlossenen Standorten in Europa. Ausserdem ein bedeutender Messestandort an der Nahtstelle der EU zu ihren östlichen Nachbarn. Nürnberg bietet ein fantastisches Einkaufserlebnis. Ansprechendes Shopping-Ambiente in der historischen Altstadt, Angebote des gehobenen Bedarfs namhafter Bekleidungs- und Luxusgeschäfte über große Kaufhausketten bis hin zu regionalen und lokalen Fachgeschäften und trendigen Szeneshops. Die Altstadt lässt sich gut fußläufig erreichen, sie ist mit U-Bahnstationen hervorragend ausgestattet, der Bahnhof liegt ebenfalls sehr günstig am Ende der Königstrasse. Ausreichend Park-möglichkeiten bieten die Parkhäuser der grossen Kaufhäuser.
