- As for Prague and Warsaw, Budapest is worth the attention. The high density of the commercial stock already in place , strengthened by the opening of the Arkad Centre by ECE adn Corvin Atrium by Klépierre, will probably not allow the development of many new large-scale projects in the near future. Many retailers consider the West End City Centre shopping centre, to be the best in Eastern Europe in terms of turnover. Many malls are to be extended or renovated (Duna Plaza, Polus, Tesco, etc) . Shopping malls anchored by Auchan Hypermarkets are "surrounding" the city and offer great opportunities for bix box retailing. Despite the quality of the commercial stock and the good results achieved by the retailers present, there is a relative scarcity of "international" chains, though these are present in Poland and the Czech Republic. This is probably due to the prevailing feeling that Budapest is currently the only city in Hungary with commercial potential. Things are changing with some new retailers entering the market : Starbucks, The Body Shop, Boggi, Parfois, Six, Napapijiri, Timeout, Redhot, etc
