The capital of the Canaries islands, Las Palmas is also the most populated city of the archipelago. The Cortè Inglès has been present for already a long time (which isn''t the case in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the other important island of the archipelago). As in many spanish towns there are two shopping hubs downtown : the old district around Calle Triana and the part of the town accomodating El Corte Inglès : Calle Mesa y Lopez.
Capital administrativa de las Canarias, Las Palmas es la ciudad mas poblada de las islas. El Corte Inglès esta implantado desde ya mucho tempo (no es el caso en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, la otra isla importante de Canarias). Igual que en muchas cuidades de Espana existe dos centros urbanos, el casco antiguo : Calle Triana y la parte de la ciudad con el Corte Inglès : Calle Mesa y Lopez.
