Bandstand Square is the latest expansion of Woking Shopping. Already offering over 750,000 sq ft of quality retail space anchored by Debenhams, Primark, Sainsbury and Boots, the extension to Woking Shopping will offer a further 200,000 sq ft of space with a new 60,000 sq ft Marks and Spencer store. In addition to the M&S store will be circa 140,000 sq ft of new retail including a new foodstore and unit shopping. The development will also provide opportunity for a 120 bed hotel and circa 200 residential units. The centre already provides car parking for 2300 vehicles and the new development will add circa 500 spaces. Leisure facilities are also being enhanced as a new Cafe Rouge has opened with considerable success and there is a wish to provide additional restaurant space to support the 2 theatres and 6 cinema screens.
