- Ul. Marszałkowska is a mix of lots of restaurants and various sized retail units, ranging from 30 to 250 square meters. The section towards pl. Konstytucji is more retail and service oriented, whereas the section heading towards pl. Bankowy is more office oriented. Zara opened their first store in Warsaw on this street. The intersection of Ul. Marszałkowska and Al. Jerozolimskie is the busiest in Warsaw as far as foot traffic is concerned. November 2009 saw the closing of Galeria Centrum. The Wars Sawa department store was remodelled to accomodate M&S, TK Maxx (both on 4.000 sqm) and Reserved (2.400 sqm).
