The first Spanish airport with nearly 36 millions of passengers a year (50% domestic flights, 50% international flights in 2002). It has been recently expanded (from 254.000 sqm to 996.000 sqm for the terminals, in particular more than 470.000 sqm for the new T4 terminal), to reach 70 millions of passengers. 11 new shops (9 of them in the T4 terminal) were added in 2013.
