Montigala Carrefour / Badalona

Shopping centre located in Badalona, north-west of Barcelona by the A19 highway anchored by a Carrefour hypermarket and medium-sized stores like Intersport and Zara. Its remodelling was completed in 2011 with the arrival of three new anchors : Kiabi, Merkal and Worten. The shopping hub is completed by the Parque Comercial Montigala (retail park) located opposite to it which accomodates a 22.000 sqm Ikea store, Aki, Decathlon and since June 2004 Leroy Merlin. In February 2014, Vastned sold it along 7 other Spanish shopping centres to Baupost Group (Green Oak and Grupo Lar) for some 160 M €. In 2016 Carmila acquired it along with El Mirador (Burgos) and Atalayas (Murcia).
