Baricentro / Barbera del Valles

Located in the northern ouskirts of Barcelona, by the A7 and A 18 crossroads, Baricentro was the first Spanish shopping center. It was extended and refurbished in 1992 (19.800 sqm) with the opening (among other shops) of a 11-screen multiplex cinema. It also accomodates a large hub dedidated to house wares. Baricentro welcomes about 500.000 visitors a month. An extension of 14.165 sqm in two levels is under way to accomodate 40 new shops. The centre will then reach 72.700 sqm GLA (49.280 sqm of sales area).
