- Like the other railway stations in Paris, the commercial facilities at Gare de l'Est have been restructured to support the arrival of the TGV Est high-speed train network (2007). The surface dedicated to commercial activities now reaches about 10.000 sqm. Altarea was the developer/ investor for the remodelling to create 5.400 sqm of retail area representing some 55 new shops,inaugurated in September 2008.
- Comme les autres gares parisiennes, la Gare de l’Est a vu ses espaces commerciaux restructurés pour accompagner l’arrivée du TGV Est (2007).
