End 2004, the surface of the commercial hub of Noyelles Godault (Auchan Shopping Centre and Retail Park) has doubled. The shopping centre, anchored by the largest Auchan hypermarket in France (18.150 sqm), now accomodates some 80 shops (among them, 3 medium-sized stores), the retail park takes up 60.000 sqm (with outlets like Décathlon, Castorama, Boulanger, Jardiland, Alinea, Cultura, Artrium... and a Gaumont multiplex). 2000 additional parking places were created. (see Noyelles Godault retail park). A new extension is planned for 2018/2019 : 9.018 sqm for 35 new shops and 10 restaurants as well as a 5.400 sqm Primark store (most of the surface taken on the hypermarket). In the vicinity (on the other side of the A1) takes place the shopping hub Maison + anchored by Ikea, which opened in 2007.

Le centre commercial, dont la locomotive est le plus grand hypermarché Auchan en France (18.150 m2), comprend désormais plus de 80 boutiques (dont 3 moyennes surfaces), le parc d'activités represente 60.000 m2 de surface de vente (avec des enseignes comme Décathlon, Castorama, Boulanger, Jardiland, Alinea, Cultura, Artrium... et un multiplexe Gaumont). 2000 places de parking supplémentaires ont été créées. Une nouvelle extension est programmée pour 2018/2019 : 9.018 m2 pour 35 nouvelles boutiques et 10 restaurants ainsi qu'un magasin Primark de 5.400 m2 (majoritairement pris sur la surface de l'hypermarché). C'est à proximité (de l'autre côté de l'A1), que se situe le pôle commercial développé autour de Ikea, "Maison +" inauguré en 2007.
