Avant Cap

Along with the Géant Barnéoud shopping centre, Avant Cap is part of the "Plan de Campagne" commercial hub, the most important peripheral zone in the region of Marseille and one of the largest in Europe (opened on Sundays). Containing nearly eighty units, this shopping arcade does not include any hypermarket but depends on several middle-sized anchors: Go Sport, La Grande Récré,H&M, Zara, Casa, etc. But the extension project of 7.500 sqm, although authorized by national authorities in July 2007, was frozen with the announcement of the Sundays'closings. The project was relaunched mid 2012, and opened end 2013. Developer : Vendôme Commerces.
Avant Cap s'inscrit avec le centre commercial Géant Barnéoud dans le pôle commercial "Plan de Campagne", la zone de périphérie la plus importante de la région de Marseille et l'une des plus importantes d'Europe dont l'une des principales caractéristiques est son ouverture dominicale. Cette galerie marchande de près de 80 cellules n'accueille aucun hypermarché mais s'appuie sur quelques moyennes surfaces locomotives : Go Sport, La Grande Recré, H&M, Zara, Casa... Le projet d'extension de 7.500 m2, bien qu'autorisé par la CNEC en juillet 2007, a été gelé à l'annonce de la fin des autorisations d'ouverture dominicale. Il a été en relancé en 2012 et a été inauguré fin 2013.
