Cora Rots

Located to the west of the conurbation, the Cora Rots SC is in the middle of the countryside but is within the immediate vicinity of the Carpiquet industrial park. This small SC includes a 10.240 sqm Cora hypermarket and cafeteria, as well as a few shops and services. The creation of an adjacent retail park (28.600 sqm for 16 stores was refused by local authorities end 2005 and by national authorities in May 2006. A new project (on 20.380 sqm) was approved by local authorities in Sept 2008 with 12 stores including a Truffaut garden centre, Kiabi, Intersport, Darty et La Grande Récré. The first phase opened Summer 2011. Ascencio acquired the retail park for 17,4 M € in December 2011.
Situé à l'ouest de l'agglomération, le Centre Commercial Cora Rots est implanté au milieu des champs mais à proximité de la zone industrielle de Carpiquet. Ce petit ensemble commercial comprend outre l'hypermarché et la cafétéria Cora (10.240 m2), quelques boutiques de services (pressing, cordonnerie). Le projet de création d'un parc d'activités adjacent (28.600 m2 pour 16 moyennes surfaces a essuyé le refus de la CDEC fin 2005 et celui de la CNEC fin mai 2006. Un nouveau projet (sur 20.380 m2) a été approuvé en CDEC en septembre 2008 avec 12 enseignes dont Truffaut, Kiabi, Intersport, Darty et La Grande Récré. La première phase a ouvert été 2011. Ascencio a acquis le retail park en décembre 2011 pour 17,4 M €.
