- Located near Mouscron, this shopping centre would have been the largest one of Belgium. The Botanic project initially included a 15.500 sqm Cora hypermarket, some 10 medium-sized stores (14.490 sqm), a 17-screen multiplex cinema, a bowling, a garden centre and a shopping arcade of some 110 stores and some 12 panoramic restaurants. After several appeals, the last administrative authorization needed (permis unique) was awarded in September 2007 but several new appeals frozen the project. Because of the political opponents, Cora proposed a smaller project under the name of Mozaik. The project now offers 36494 sqm of retail area with a 7.504 sqm hypermarket...but is still highly disputed. Developer : Cora Belgique.
- Situé près de Mouscron, Botanique aurait été le plus grand centre commercial Belgique, avec un hypermarché Cora de 15.000 m2, une dizaine de moyennes surfaces (14.490 m2) un multiplexe de 17 salles, un bowling, une jardinerie et une galerie marchande d'environ 110 boutiques et 12 restaurants panoramiques. Après de nombreux recours, la dernière autorisation administrative nécessaire (le permis unique) a été obtenue en septembre 2007, mais de nouveaux recours ont bloqué le projet. Du fait de la forte opposition politique, Cora a proposé un projet plus modeste sous le nom de Mozaik : 34.494 m2 de surface commerciale et un hypermarché de 7.504 m2... qui souleve encore de nombreuses oppositions.
