Next opening in restructuring phase. Verona Porta Nuova is the transit point for an average of about 68,000 people daily for a total of 25 million users per year. As a typical example of a transit station where roughly 300 trains arrive daily, it represents the nexus toward which the network of public urban and suburban tire-based transportation flows. Near the complex is located an important inter-city bus terminal supporting approximately 1400 daily trips. The station has recently undergone remodel work: the current layout, however, presents difficulties for the commercial aspect which, under the weight of structural and visibility problems, is having trouble establishing itself. Functional renovation of the complex calls for the reclaiming of areas currently experiencing little use, to be used for services.

Tipico esempio di stazione di transito in cui giornalmente si attestano circa 300 treni, rappresenta il nodo verso cui confluisce la rete di trasporti pubblici su gomma urbana ed extraurbana; in prossimità del complesso è situato infatti un importante bus terminal intercomunale su cui insistono circa 1.400 corse giornaliere. La stazione è stata oggettodi un recente lavoro di ristrutturazione: l''attuale sistemazione, tuttavia, comporta difficoltà per il comparto commerciale che, gravato da problemi strutturali e di visibilità, stenta ad affermarsi. Il riassetto funzionale del complesso prevede il recupero di aree attualmente poco utilizzate, da destinare ai servizi.
