Futurum Ostrava

Futurum Centre in Ostrava is slightly smaller that the same named centre in Brno, which has probably helped it to be 100% full of fashion and service retailers. It is well positioned to the west and within the city limits, with Tesco and Ikea providing any competition, however they are further west from the city centre. It is anchored by a 14.500 sqm Tesco hypermarket (formerly Carrefour until June 2006) and a Cine Star multiplex. The shopping centre was completed in 2007 by a 13-unit retail park located just opposite to it (see Futurum Retail Park). Investor : Star Capital Investments.
