- The M1 Shopping Centre is to the north and approx. 3 kms from the city centre, on the 483 road heading towards Łódź. The shopping gallery is small, however some big anchors like Media Markt make this centre an attractive place to do the weekly shopping. The mix of retailers is mainly service oriented with few fashion retailers. It now has to compete with Galeria Jurajska which opened Spring 2009. An extension is under study to accomodate some 75 shops and reach 34.000 sqm.
