Improving The Hague's city center is the aim of this project which will be realised several stages. It includes the integration of an underground railway and transport infrastructure (Central Station). The Grote Markstraat project has been completed by the creation of a "shopping street" : Rabbijn Maarsenplein with some 2.000 sqm of retail area (11 shops from 60 to 280 sqm). (leasing company for Rabbijn Maarsenplein : Remmers Retail). A new phase was developed by Multi to create a link between Spuistraat and Grote Marktstraat under the name of Nieuwe Haagse Passage. The two storey shopping arcade offers 10.500 sqm of retail area and is directly opposite the existing Passage gallery. The second floor accomodates restaurants, while the third floor is be occupied by an hotel. The opening took place in September 2014.
