De Klanderij / Twentec

This shopping arcade is a part of the redevelopment of Van Heekplein, in the centre of Enschede. The new De Klanderij (19.000 sqm) is completed by Twentec, located opposite to it, which includes medium-sized stores (7.500 sqm). In the vicinity one building has been redeveloped into a 10000 sqm shopping arcade anchored by a 7000 sqm De Bijenkorf unit by MDC. Vroom & Dressmann has renovated its own unit. Developer : Foruminvest. ASR Dutch Prime Retail Custodian sold De Klanderij to Union Investment in January 2016.
