- The Atrium Copernicus is anchored by a 11.300 sqm Auchan (formely Real) hypermarket. It's approx. 3 kms east of the city centre, with the Carrefour scheme further away and also on the main road that heads towards Warsaw. Kometa shopping centre is the closest competitor. Atrium also benefits from the vicinity of the train station. Spring 2011, Atrium acquired a 38.000 sqm plot adjacent to Copernicus to develop a 19.000 sqm GLA expansion for some 55 stores (including Decathlon, Sephora, Rossmann..) and a car park for some 750 vehicles, inaugurated in March 2015.
