Peterstrasse is running from Market Place to the South. This is a typical fashion street with the anchors H&M, Mango, Görtz, Peek & Cloppenburg...e. Its retail value has certainly increased with the arrival of two new top anchors : Karstadt (26.000 sqm) and Sinn Leffers (9.500 sqm) which replaced the Kapital Kino in the Peterhof project (13.000 sqm) But the Sinn Leffers store closed in February 2009 and was replaced by Kult end 2009. The Karstadt department store also accomodates a DM store and an Idee Creativmarkt. At numbers 36-44 is located the shopping centre "Petersbogen", anchored by a 8-screen Cinestar multiplex. The "Merkurhaus" at n°50, currently occupied by Woolworth is to be remodelled to accomodate more retail surface.
