Nova Eventis

This regional shopping centre is located at the crossroads of the A9 motorway (exit Leipzig West) and the B 181 expressway (Leipzig-Merseburg), and is a redevelopement/ extension of the former Saale Park. It accomodates more than 200 shops and is anchored by a Höffner standalone superstore (furniture) while Ikea is located opposite to it, on the other side of the B181 expressway. It is completed by leisure activities : among them a cinema multiplex and outdoor activities organized around a lake next to the shopping centre. It has been developed in different phases : the second one was opened in October 2005, the third one in March 2006, the last one Sept 2006. Investment: 170 Mio EUR. It was acquired in 2017 by Ares Management and Baupost Group from Prejan Enterprises and PCP Prime Commercial Properties for around € 200 M.
