- Located in the eastern outskirts of Leipzig, near the A14 "Leipzig Ost" exit, Paunsdorf Center was one of the first shopping centres to be built after the German reunification. It was extended in 1999. The commercial hub is completed by a sports and leisure area (tennis and squash courts, fitness centre...). Investment (including tenant´s investment) : 225 M. EUR. The shopping arcade is owned since 2005 by Ivanhoe Cambridge and managed by MFI. A renovation/extension to transform it into "Paunsdorf Center Arcaden" was completed in December 2012. It now accomodates some 180 shops.In April 2011, MFI (now Unibail-Rodamco) acquired 50% of the shopping centre. In 2017, Axa acquired shares from Unibail Rodamco.
