Shopping City Sud Vösendorf

The largest shopping centre in Austria is located south of the conurbation, by the A2 (Südautobahn). The shopping centre anchored by Interspar, C&A, H&M, Hervis, Humanic, Intersport Eybl... is completed by a leisure centre (anchored by a 9 screen multiplex cinema and Saturn), an Ikea megastor (37 500 sqm), a retail park including Media Markt, Conrad and Interio. A Factory Outlet Centre "Sale City Süd" (about 40 shops on 10.000 sqm) opened in Sept.2006 next to Motor City. Unibail-Rodamco acquired some 90% of the shopping hub in 2008. SES (Spar European Shopping Centers) owns 23.000 sqm GLA. In 2012/2013, the shopping centre was remodelled and accomodates since end 2013 a 5.000 Primark store, and several new international labels like Michael Kors or Superdry. A new extension (19.511 sqm) is scheduled for 2018.
