Elbe Park

This regional shopping centre is located directly by the exit "Dresden Neustadt" of the A4 expressway. It is composed of several buildings and is located next to a Ikea store. It is anchored by Ikea and Kaufland as well as several medium-sized stores : Media Markt, Toys R Us, Höffner, H&M and more recently C&A. Rossmann, S.Oliver, Orsay, Nordsee are some of the retail chains located in the shopping arcade. The Mc Donald's restaurant is situated outside. The retail hub is completed by entertainment activities : a UCI multiplex cinema (9 screens), a bowling alley, two night clubs, a fitness centre. The centre remodelling and expansion by 18.500 sqm was completed in April 2010. But following a conflict between the city of Dresden and Krieger Liegenschafts GmbH (owner of the site) about 5.896 sqm which were not authorized but built in the extension, the surface of Elbe Park has to be reduced by the same surface by 2020.
