- Al. Jana Pawła II is a street where there is a lot of contrast in the retail mix. On one hand there are some very good retailers like HTH furniture, Max Mara and Marionnaud and on other sections the mix is poor and uninteresting. What is interesting is that on one side of al. Jana Pawła II you have the newly openned Arkadia (20/10/2004) and on the other side, Złote Tarasy, that opened 7/02/2007. Both centres have been in the focus of attention by Polish and international retailers alike. But as Arkadia is bigger, in the long term it is expected to dominate this street. Between nr. 43a and 45a all the stalls have been pulled down and now there are new retailers on the ground and first floors. But the offer is poor, small and a bit of everything. At nr 41a there are still works in progress.
