Ernst August Galerie takes place right next to the main train station (and its 20.000 sqm of retail area), on a site formerly occupied by a Post building. The three-storey shopping centre is triangle-shaped and accomodates some 140 stores. The two shopping arcades (both managed by ECE) are making of Ernst August Platz one of the strongest shopping hubs of the region as several main anchors like Kaufhof or Saturn were already located there.
