Intu Lakeside

Lakeside is located at the junction of the M25 and the A13 and is the region’s dominant shopping destination and one of the largest retail hub in Europe. It is situated on the other side of the Thames Estuary from Bluewater and offers approximately 130,000 sqm of retail space, with 300 shops including four large department stores, and a multiscreen cinema. The centre attracts 24 M visitors a year. A large retail park and a Tesco Extra store complete the shopping centre. The centre is easily accessible by car, bus, and train. A project of extension of 30.000 sqm for 40 new stores is waiting for administrative authorizations. A leisure development (extended cinema, new restaurants and leisure activities like Nickelodeon) was authorized in January 2014. Opening scheduled in 2017/2018.
