Forum Nova Karolina

Multi Development has been selected in July 2006 by the local authorities for the urban redevelopment of the Karolina district, south of the city centre. The 32 ha area accomodates some 97.000 sqm of retail, 67.000 sqm of offices and 78.000 sqm residential, as an extension of the city centre. Phase 1 (opened Spring 2012) included the 58.000 sqm Forum Nova Karolina shopping and entertainment centre (including an 8-screen Palace Cinemas multiplex, 23.000 sqm of offices and 200 appartments). In September 2011, Forum Nova Karolina was acquired by a 50/50 joint-venture between Meyer Bergman and HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) along with the Forum Ústí nad Labem shopping centre for 300 M €.
