St Johns Shopping Centre

St Johns was until the opening of Liverpool One the Liverpool's largest shopping centre. It is located in the heart of the city centre, opposite to the Lime Street Station. It is host to a variety of retail units from well-known high street names to independent retails mostly on a middle-low range. It also accomodates a 120-stall food and retail market. St Johns has a large Food Court featuring brands like Mc Donald's, Subway and KFC. In June 2008, Land Securities was granted by local authorities the planning permission for a 10.970 sqm expansion. Land Securities sold St Johns to InfraRed Capital Partners for some 73,5 M£ in April 2012. Since then InfraRed has renovated the centre.
