Regional shopping centre located 12 miles to the west of Birmingham. It accomodates a two-storey shopping arcade anchored by Sainsbury, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, Asda.... It is completed by a retail park with anchors like PC World or Matalan. Among the latest arrivals : Ultimate Outdoors. Owners : QIC (50%) and Intu which acquired the 50% stake of Westfield for 407,7 M £ in March 2014. In 2016, Intu acquired the QIC's 50% stake for 527 M € (410 M £), taking full control of Merry Hill. A refurbishment and leisure extension is under study while Primark will expand into the former BHS store.
