Flinger Straße

Flingerstrasse connects the popular Königsstrasse (Kö) with the banks of the Rhine. It goes through the old city and during recent years has developed into an attractive trendy shopping street with rapidly rising rentals. Fresh retailing concepts with trendy gastronomy in the side streets have brought a fresh atmosphere to the street. The anchors of Flingerstrasse/Rheinstrasse used to be in the eastern extremity the Carsch department store and, in the western section, the fashion and leisure department store, KULT. But since 2007, it accomodates a new anchor : Zara , which took over most of the former Woolworth department store. Ampng the latest arrivals : Only, Scotch & Soda, Kiko. The former Carsch House department store now accomodates the first Saks Off 5th store in Germany since June 2017.
Die Flingerstraße verbindet die beliebte Königsstraße (KÖ) mit dem Rheinufer. Sie durchquert die Altstadt und hat sich in den letzten Jahren zu einer attraktiven trendigen Einkaufsstraße entwickelt mit stark steigender Miettendenz. Junge Einzelhandelskonzepte mit szeniger Gastronomie in den Nebenstraßen sorgen für den frischen Flair der Straße. Die Anker der Flingerstraße/Rheinstraße sind am östlichen Antritt das CARSCH Kaufhaus und im westlichen Bereich das Mode und Entertainment Kaufhaus KULT.
