|Name||The Horsefair-Penn Street|
|Site Type||Middle range fashion street|
|Length of the pitch||400 m|
- The Horsefair runs along the northern perimeter of the Broadmead shopping district. At its eastern end it then runs south, becoming Penn Street. Broadmead is a middle market retailing pitch with national multiples such as Marks & Spencer, Primark, Debenhams, Topshop. The Penn Street end has seen the completion of Cabot Circus Shopping Centre to the east, and Quakers Friars to the west (2008). This has created a shift in the prime retail pitch of the area, leaving the western end of the Broadmead district with many vacancies . Penn Street has a mix of larger multiples including H&M, Topshop and Zara, with some smaller ones and convenience or service stores to the west.
