Grand Arcade is a downtown redevelopment scheme, bordered by Downing Street, St Andrew's Street, Corn Exchange Street and Lion Yard. Its main anchor, the John Lewis department store opened November 2007 but the two-level shopping centre itself opened Spring 2008. With the opening of this centre Cambridge is expected to enter the top 25 shopping destinations in the UK.
