- A slightly out of town situated centre, the Connswater shopping arcade (18.580 sqm) used to be anchored by Dunnes Stores and Tesco (which both closed their stores in 2015). The shopping centre is completed by a 12.000 sqm, 14-unit retail park (Bensons, Lidl, Poundworld...). A small extension to the site has been granted (3.715 sqm) and add 5 new shops (about 370 sqm each) and a 5-unit food court at first floor. The shopping centre was renovated in the same time. Footfall : 100.000 visitors/week. Lidl is to open a new store in 2017. Investor : Killultagh Estates (which acquired it from BL Universal in 2001 for £47.3 million)
