- Clapham Junction station is located in Battersea and accomodates several suburban train lines leading to Victoria and Waterloo stations as well as Croydon. It is connected to the underground network. It is the busiest train station in the UK regarding the number of interchanges. It welcomes some 2.000 trains a day. A 6.500 sqm shopping arcade of some 20 stores "Stopshop" is located in the main entrance of the station. A major renovation and expansion scheme was under way but was withdrawn in 2009 because of the council's opposition. It was owned by Metro Shopping Fund(a 50:50 joint venture partnership between Delancey and Land Securities) until 2017 when Land Securities sold its stake to Delancey.
