Bicester Village is a fashion outlet centre particularly dedicated to high-end and luxury fashion brands. It is located 20 km north-east of Oxford and its catchment area includes both London and Birmingham. In 2007, it welcomed some 3,7 million visitors. October 2008 saw the opening of 30 new shops including Alexander Mc Queen, Matthew Williamson, Paul & Joe, Zadig & Voltaire. An extension took place on the site of Tesco (which relocated and expanded on Oxford Road) for 30 new shops and 350 parking spaces inaugurated October 2017.
