Meadowhall

Two-level regional shopping centre located north of Sheffield, with a direct access to the M1 (junction 34). Debenhams, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer are its main anchors. It was recently refurbished and extended by 13.000 sqm to create 2 new medium-sized stores (Next and Primark) and 12 shops. It welcomes over 24 million customers a year. Owners : The British Land Company/London & Stamford (50/50) since February 2009. In October 2012 Norges Bank acquired the 50% stake of London & Stamford for 307,9 M £. Ikea plans to open a 37.000 sqm unit close to it. The centre's refurbishment was completed in 2017. A 30.650 sqm entertainment leisure hall is also under study for an opening in 2020/2021.
