Capital Shopping Park

Capital retail park is part of a scheme also including the new stadium for Cardiff City football club. Developer : Capital Retail Park Partnership (50/50 joint venture between Capital & Regional and local developer PMG). It is anchored by a 12.310 Costo superstore, a 5.100 sqm Asda supermarket, a 4.550 sqm Marks & Spencer Home store and a 4.365 sqm JJB Sports fitness club . First units opened June 2008. In 2009, PMG bought out Capital & Regional’s share. An extension including an 72-room hotel and some 700 sqm of retail area is under study. In February 2014, Aberdeen Asset Management acquired the scheme from PMG for 59,65 M£.
