- Regeneration project of Kingston’s town centre originally led by Hammerson. The area extends to around 6 ha bounded to the north by Clarence Street, by Wheatfield Way to the south and east, and by Union Street to the west. The scheme includes the remodeling of the Eden Walk shopping centre. Developer Hammerson had promised to rejuvenate Eden Quarter, but negotiations of seven years fell through in September 2010. It was hoped work would start in 2011 for completion in 2020. British Land acquired Hammerson's former 50% stake from USS, with USS retaining a 50% stake.
