Watermark WestQuay

Project developed by Hammerson just next its WestQuay shopping centre, the WestQuay retail park and Ikea on a site formerly occupied by Pirelli. It is the phase 3 of the WestQuay project. It includes 24.000 sqm of retail area for some 20 restaurants and cafés, a Cinema De Lux 10-screen multiplex, a 150-bedroom hotel and 240 apartments around an open plaza. Once frozen the project has been relaunched in 2012. The planning application was submitted in April 2013. Phase 1 includes the cinema (opening Feb 2017) and the restaurants. End 2016, GIC bought 50% of Watermark from Hammerson for £48.5m.
