- The Arcadia Centre is located downtown Ealing, West London, right next the Ealing Broadway train station and just opposite to the Ealing Broadway centre. Its redevelopment is part of the Ealing's town centre redevelopment scheme with the Ealing Broadway Centre remodelling and the Dickens Yard project. A modified project (with 19.000 sqm of retail and a 85 metre-tall tower instead of of 124) was approved by both the local council and the Mayor of London but rejected at a public enquiry in 2009. the scheme also includes 567 apartments, offices and leisure facilities. The project was put on hold when Glenkerrin, the developer, collapsed and is now controlled by Grant Thornton, on behalf of NAMA. In April 2012 Benson Elliot was selected to buy and redevelop Arcadia Centre. Plans to convert Arcadia into 3 large stores (TK Maxx to be extented), Morrisons and Mc Donald's were approved in June 2013. In January 2014, the scheme was acquired by Pramerica Real Estate Investors for 44,8 M €.
