Some 8.000 sqm of retail area have been created between the terminals 1 and 2, doubling the retail surface in the airport (4.450 sqm for shops, 2.630 sqm for restaurants and bars). The area which accomodates some 40 shops is named "Airport Plaza" and opened December 2008.
