- One-level shopping centre situated downtown Luton, between the University of Berdforshire and the Galaxy entertainment centre and opposite the train station. It was originally known as the Arndale shopping centre until the Mall Company purchased it in 2006. It is anchored by Debenhams, Tesco, Boots, Primark, Marks & Spencer (which took over the former Woolworth unit) .... and also includes a market of some 120 stalls (mainly dedicated to food) It was recently extended by some 7.000 sqm to accomodate two new anchors : TK Maxx and Argos. This extension was the first phase of a major regeneration project which also includes some 37.000 sqm of new retail area (between the Mall and the train station). Ownership : Capital & Regional.
