- The Cornbow shopping centre was built in 1967 in Halesowen's city centre (about 55.000 inhabitants) as an open-air shopping arcade. It was refurbished (and covered) a first time in 1989 by Land Securities. It was once again remodelled in 2007 with the creation of a 6.750 sqm Asda store (on two levels).
