Porta Nuova

Major requalification project of the district situated opposite to the Garibaldi train station. It includes on 290.000 sqm, housing , offices and showrooms (including the future Citta della Moda) and shops which will occupy the ground floor of the buildings along pedestrian streets (17.850 sqm of retail area). First shops opened in 2013 (Muji, Costume National...). The scheme will benefit from large parking spaces. In May 2013, Qatar Investment Authority acquired 40% of the project. It acquired the remaining 60% stake in March 2015 from Hines Italia SGR, Unipol Sai, Coima and Galotti. Developer : Hines.
