- While Hammerson UK and Standard Life are to take in charge the redevelopment of the Brent Cross shopping centre (Brent Cross North), Barnet council and Capita will develop Brent Cross South. The scheme includes 7.500 new homes and 450.000 sqm commercial space on nearly 140 hectares. First phase will consist in delivering 2.000 new homes and 17.500 sqm of retail, aimed to form the commercial heart of the new district. Barnet Council and Capita named Argent as prefered bidder in Feb 2015.
