Thorpe Park is a major mixed-use project developed by Scarborough Group International, just off the M1 Junction 46, in the eastern outskirts of Leeds. Phase II of the project includes offices, 300 houses, 18.000 sqm of retail area (including a supermarket) and 20.530 sqm for leisure, restaurants and cafés. Planning permission for a 2.000 seat, 12-screen cinema has been awarded in January 2016. In August 2015, Legal & General acquired a 50% stake of the project. The scheme will benefit of a new railway station.
